Why IslandBounce
Most transport comparison sites list every boat a booking site sells and leave you to guess which ones actually run. We do it the other way around: we start from the islands themselves and the operators' own timetables, and we're adding on-the-ground detail (which harbour, where to check in, how long the drive really takes) route by route as we go.
How we check the times: we look at seven days of departures on our booking site and compare each one with the operator's own published timetable. A sailing is listed as a daily departure only when both agree, with the same operator and a departure within ten minutes, on every one of those days. Each route page says when it was last checked. Fares are the lowest we saw for one adult. Schedules still change, so always confirm on the booking page when you book.
Our booking links go to our booking site, run with our partner 12Go. If you book through them we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That's how the site stays free and independent.
Who's behind this
Spotted something wrong, run a boat operator, or just want to say hi — either of us is a fair place to start.
